The original hotel at Sun City, owned and run by Sun International and sold for a time as Soho; some agent sites still use that name. It is outside the park, at the resort that borders Pilanesberg on the south, about 7 km from Kwa-Maritane gate. Rooms start at R5,135 a night on Sun International's site, including resort entry and the Valley of Waves. For the park you self-drive or join a Mankwe Gametrackers drive from the Welcome Centre. Choose it if Sun City's casino and pools are part of the plan; skip it if you only want the park, where the same money buys a night inside on the private reserve.
