Legacy Hotels and Resorts' small lodge in Pilanesberg: ten chalets on a concession of their own inside the park, reached through Bakubung gate. Legacy, a hotel group, also runs Bakubung Bush Lodge, Bakubung Villas and Kwa Maritane; who holds the Tshukudu concession itself is not on record. The rate is fully inclusive with guided drives: R7,795 a person sharing through an agent, or R17,630 a room on Legacy's own site for the Tshwene Deluxe. It is the most expensive per-person rate inside the main park in our sources. Choose it for a small lodge with everything included; skip it if you would rather spend that money across more nights.

How do you get to Tshukudu Bush Lodge?
Through Bakubung gate on the south-west side, near Ledig and a short drive west of Sun City. From Sandton that gate is about 174 km and 2 h 29 on the OSRM planner, without traffic.
Is Tshukudu good for families?
We found no published child policy. Ask Legacy about minimum ages before booking; Bakubung Bush Lodge, run by the same group, is the more obvious family choice.
